Anormal es un trabajo conceptual que cuenta la historia de Adara Loan, una niña de 12 años que presa de maltratos y humillaciones por parte de su padre, decide asesinarlo. Después se da cuenta de que su padre no era el problema, sino ella misma, y asi decide terminar con su vida colgándose de un árbol.

El librillo del cd es el diario de Adara, y nos cuenta en primera persona su proceso de degradación física, mental y psicológica. Las canciones nos van narrando cronológicamente la historia de sus pensamientos y la evolución de los traumas que letamente la llevan a cometer el crimen mas horrible de su vida. En “me voy a destruir” se puede notar el gradual desencanto con el que Adara percibe su propia vida. En “ente” ella da indicios de una violación que nunca es afirmada o negada en su totalidad en los textos, dándonos una idea de las cosas que Adara se calló y se guardó para si misma y con las que tiene que lidiar día con día. Es en “Anormal” que decide gritar su inconformidad con el mundo, culpando a su familia, su sociedad y su educación de todo lo que ella no puede hacer bien.. y esta es una espiral que lentamente va desembocando en el asesinato de su padre en “Como es para mi” gritándole al cadáver que nunca la comprendió... “ya no importa que entiendas que todo se complica, no sabes como es para mi”... La decisión que Adara ha tomado no es la correcta, y su cabeza da vueltas y vueltas al asunto durante “Arcilla”, donde le pide al fantasma de su padre dejarla en paz. El final es inminente, y en “Inhalar” la decisión esta tomada. Justo en el ultimo momento Adara comprende que la unica manera de descansar es quitándose la vida, arrancando las culpas que ella misma carga por sus propias decisiones, y serena y tranquila, se quita la vida bajo el mismo árbol que de niña la vio jugar y crecer.

Anormal nos abre paso a ser consideradas una de las pocas bandas propositivas, ofreciendo música con un mensaje y un sentido, un show con escenografias y proyecciones en video.. todo para que el público lograra sentir esa desesperación que Adara y que todos nosotros sentimos alguna vez. Un trabajo bastante profundo y complejo para una banda de niños y niñas menores de 17 años, según algunos. Lo cierto es que es un trabajo que no solo nos da un lugar importante y reconocible en esta escena, sino que nos hace crecer desde el grunge desenfadado de nuestro primer album, hacia un new metal característico de la epoca que muy bien se lleva con la historia que encierra este album.

Sin saberlo, el lanzamiento del cd junto con el sitio web de la pagina en ese entonces, crearon un ARG (alternate reality game por sus siglas en ingles), una estrategia de mercado que significa “juego de realidad alterna”. Este efecto fue tan fuerte que mucha gente realmente se pregunto si el cd que estaban escuchando era una historia ficticia, o si fueron hechos reales los que habian inspirado la creación del cd.
